| Notes: I purchased this old 8x10 photo. It is not a recent reprint. The photo indicates that the aircraft was operated by the Western Division of General Air Lines. Several sources on the Internet indicate that this aircraft crashed in Pennsylvania on December 19, 1936, as an Eastern Airlines aircraft, with the loss of 14 lives. I can find no other references to it in the history sources I have available. I welcome additional information. The original photo is very clear and is for sale. |
