Notes: I shot this B-18 while our family was on vacation in 1958. Barry Baker was a friend and competitor of my father, in the forest spraying business.
The B-18 was a late-1930's bomber version of the DC-3. I don't think I've ever heard them described as "pretty". This one appears to still have the 1000-hp engines, per the cowling and no cowl flaps. It looks like the props are in the feather position.
Can anyone help me with more information on this aircraft? |
