Notes: 10/3//03 - "Colorful" is one of the first words that come to mind when one sees this 1968, Cessna 180. This is one of the many '180's we saw at the 2003 International Seaplane Fly-In at Greenville, Maine in September. Seaplane Fly-In
William Pepper has owned N3459Y since 1981. It is on CAP 3000 floats and has the Horton STOL kit. |

Notes: Pepper entered the "Bush Pilot's Canoe Race", which is a timed event. One person paddles the canoe from shore to a dock in the lake. At the right time, the pilot fires up and roars out to the dock, hopefully just after the canoe gets there so the boater can grab him and tie him up to the dock. He shuts down and together they tie the canoe to the floats, climb in and race back to the dock. Here they have just left the dock and are getting on the step. |

Notes: Racing back to the dock now. I guess you would call that white stuff, "pepper spray". |

Notes: Pepper also entered the slalom event. He is pictured here, well on the step, heading for the finish line. |
